Hello WHO...
I had a very enjoyable stroll from Stratford Park to the Olympic Park yesterday.
I will be doing a similar stroll before the next home game vs. Southampton on 31st March 2018. A few friends from KUMB will be there too.
We'll get to Stratford Park at 12:30 and will hang around until 1pm at which point we'll set off. NOTE one hour later than yesterday.

I think the momentum is there, we saw that yesterday, and it would be great to capitalise on that. What we'd really like here, and I'm not trying to speak for WHO but would think it's a representative view, would be for BG who posts as One Iron on here to be involved if at all possible. I don't know if that's either possible or if so how it would sit with a wider audience however I think he's the only figurehead out there who could galvanise sufficient numbers.
It depends on whether you want to try and organise something meaningful in the sense of numbers and publicity, or are happy with something cathartic for the individuals involved.

I don't know BG to speak to but as I understand it he's unwell at the moment. Hope he's better soon and can get involved for this...

There's a few blokes on here who know Bill well it would seem. Big ask, to be honest, given his health, but I do think him coming out would bring literally thousands, all the people who originally wanted to march, plus more who were pissed off at how it got cancelled etc.
The other main thing is how this would sit with the council. I have to say that after yesterday I'd expect them to refuse it.

The police were very helpful and accommodating yesterday.
If BG were to get involved it might attract such numbers that road closures were needed.
But hundreds of us walking through Stratford at 1pm on a Saturday is nothing different to what we do anyway.
I need to get from Stratford Park to the Olympic Park somehow, and walking with friends is my chosen method.

Well played, fuck the council, nothing to do with them when it comes to strolling to a football stadium, and £27,000 isn't needed to have a fucking walk.
